Early life, family, and education

Taylor grew up in Atlanta with her parents, her older brother Kyle and her three older cousins who lived nearby – Jason, Jack, and Michael. She watched football as it was a big part of her family, on TV while she also attended matches – she was the only female child on her dad’s side of the family. One of the reasons why this was so important for everyone is that her uncle called Steve Bisciotti is the majority owner of the football team the Baltimore Ravens – Taylor claimed how he was the most supportive person in her family when she decided to become a sports anchor and reporter. When she began covering the SEC Women’s Soccer Tournament for the SEC Network, Steve called her every day to give her great advice, particularly how it’s normal to be insecure and vulnerable at the beginning, but it would get better as she gained experience.

She enrolled at the University of Georgia in Athens and receive her degree with a double major in Business Marketing and Broadcast Journalism.

Career

As soon as she graduated, Taylor started working as an intern for WUSA 9 located in Washington D.C.– it was there that she found her passion towards sports journalism and realized what she wanted to do. She went on to work as a sideline reporter for the SEC (Southeastern Conference) Network and ESPN, and was then invited to work as a host on Sporting News.

She stayed a while with Sporting News before she became part of the NFL Network for which she is working today. She is their sports anchor while she also goes and reports from the field – you can see her on multiple NFL Media platforms, still said to be the youngest person who the NFL Network ever hired to work on their on-air scene.

She is currently working in Los Angeles as an NFL sportscaster, while she still often visits her family in Atlanta.

Other interests

Football and journalism aren’t Taylor’s only interests, as she is also a big advocate for female empowerment, and is very supportive of causes regarding health issues. Her family share her interest about raising the awareness of the importance of health, and they host a fashion show in their house every year to support the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and help raise money for the Ronald McDonald House. The money is mostly used to provide healthcare for children and to pay for their place to stay near the hospital if their parents are not financially able to do so.

Steve Bisciotti

Taylor’s uncle was born on 10 April 1960, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA, and is a business executive best known for being the majority owner of the Baltimore Ravens football team which competes in the NFL. He is also a founder of a company in Columbia, Maryland which works in home health and medical staffing.

Steve became a business man when he was 23 – he and Jim Davis, his cousin, started a staffing company called “Aerotek”. Even though they were running it from an office in basem*nt with used equipment, they managed to make sales worth $1.5 million in just the first year. The company soon became the Allegis Group, and is said to be the largest private staffing firm on the globe.

The biggest success of his Baltimore Ravens was when they won Super Bowl XLVII on 3 February 2013, beating the San Francisco 49ers. Steve currently holds number 378 place of the richest people in the US, and lives in Point Field Landing of the Severn River located in Maryland with his wife Renee Foote and their two sons.

Personal life and likes

Taylor tries her best to keep her personal life to herself and to not be a target of rumors and controversies, however, it’s hard to stay away from rumors when you are a media personality. Taylor is said to have been dating Brian McFayden in 2016 – Brian is a TV person just as her and used to work as an anchor on MTV News. The rumors started after Brian posted a picture with Taylor on his Twitter account with a description saying how he is having so much fun working with his girl, while Taylor uploaded a picture of them on her account – the picture was shot during a party and Taylor put a description ‘Uno ano’ meaning ‘one year’ which would mean that the couple started dating on 30 April 2015. The posts stopped in 2017 and they are said to not be dating anymore.

It appears that Taylor hasn’t dated anyone after Brian, or is maybe just very good at hiding it – she appears to be single at the moment, has never married and doesn’t have any kids.

Taylor is a family person while her biggest role model is her grandmother Patricia Bisciotti – her husband died to leukemia when she was 35, and she had to raise Taylor’s father and her aunt, Steve Bisciotti’s mother, all on her own. There are three things which Taylor cannot live without – her small pillow, chocolate, and her iPhone. She can only sleep well on her own pillow, she has to eat chocolate every night because she loves it that much and has made it a habit, and she couldn’t do her job properly without her iPhone.
